OK, so the Kings are officially out of it. What now? Well, in the NBA, 16 teams qualify for the playoffs, and the remaining 14 are entered in the draft lottery, which began in 1985. Based on their regular-season records through Tuesday, these 14 teams, including the Kings, would be assigned the following number of chances (out of a total 1,000 combinations) of drawing the highest pick. Among the top draft pick prospects this year are Kevin Durant of Texas, Greg Oden of Ohio State and Al Horford of Florida.
