Slugger Barry Bonds joins reality TV

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- San Francisco Giants slugger Barry Bonds is apparently gearing up to star in an ESPN reality series, it was reported Thursday.
The weekly show will follow Bonds on and off the field, starting with spring training and continuing through the Major League Baseball season, The Hollywood Reporter said.
This is an important season for Bonds as he pursues the home run records set by Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron, The Reporter noted.
Sources told The Reporter ESPN has tentatively slated the show for 7 p.m. Eastern time Tuesday nights with reruns scheduled throughout the week.

I have to say i'm speechless........
 
This is a joke, right? This doesn't vibe at all with Bonds' personality. This is like a Real World season with Kenny Rogers and seven sports photographers in the same house.
 
You know, if they film Barry Bonds sitting in his lockeroom recliner watching himself being filmed live on his plasma tv, it would have that cool, infinity effect where Barry would be watching Barry, who would be watching Barry, who would be watching Barry...
