Two excellent reasons to be proud of Miller:

Brad: I think I was just upset the whole way home and then once I get home its just [inaudible, some Bradism that I can’t understand ]…if I wasn’t so white I could jump all the time. If I could have been able to dunk that one lay-up instead of missing it. But I have a problem when my white legs go out rarely every now and then on me, so I mean if you don’t make that then we don’t have to worry about it

And I understand, I would never want to be a ref. I tried it once when I was young for a summer league and I had a hard time with it. So you know I think they just need to figure out something to help these guys out. Give us a couple of yellow flags, you know three yellow flags in football or something. I mean they need to figure out something because the guys are so athletic, so fast, jump so high, shoot so good, you know do dirty things so good, its hard for these thee guys to pick it up.

Don't see him blaming at all, and he actually takes responsibility in many things he said. WAY TO GO BRAD!

Yeah, overall I'm very impressed with Brad's interview. Obviously it's much easier to think rationally once you've had some time to cool off. At the end of the game like that, MY emotions are so high, I can't even imagine what it would be like to be a player. Good job Brad, you made us proud.

Someone posted that clip a while ago before the board crashed. I think that kid is an exception, but you are right not all white people can't jump (no mater what Woody thinks).

There was a white kid in my high school who was 6'1" and could get his head to the rim level.

that was a good read.. i can't agree more with brad on that "the kings don't get the calls like other teams do because of perception.. like the kings are just a jumpshooting team and we don't get fouled much.. but when the opponents miss a basket driving to the hoop or whatever goes wrong, they call something on the kings cause they have a rep for not playing D.."

and i'm proud of him for taking responsibility and being able to just laugh at himself (for the "whiteness of his legs")
