[h=1]Sacramento Kings Personnel Update[/h] SACRAMENTO -- The Sacramento Kings today announced that Kings Assistant Coaches Jim Eyen, Alex English, and Clifford Ray will not be retained for the upcoming season, effectively immediately.


In addition, Bobby Jackson will no longer serve as an assistant coach but will continue with the organization in another capacity.

Ah good, I was hoping that would be the case (both the first part, and the second part). Malone needs his own staff. And I'm happy we're keeping BJax within the organization.

Id like to thank clifford Ray more than anybody. I know BJax was great player and all but I never saw a change in any player because of him on staff. Clifford Ray is a different story. Jason Thompson was the most efficient player on our team this season and has been stable in the frontcourt. He made more improvment since the arrival or Ray than any year prior.

Yeah, I thought something like this might happen. Many new coaches in all Pro sports like to surround themselves with people they know and can fill a need in the new coach’s organization. I also like that they have found a spot for Bobby.

No surprises in keeping Bobby in another role. I would have liked us to keep Clifford Ray as the big men coach! Therest?! MEH!!!
