MOST. RIDICULOUS. COMMENT. EVER. Not sure if you are aware of this or not, but there happens to be a team called the Sacramento River Cats, who play for the PCL, which is a AAA league. Oh, and not to mention, they happen to be the AAA affiliate of the, wait for it, Oakland Athletics, a PROFESSIONAL (MLB) baseball team...And since the River Cats have consistently been one of the top AAA teams out there since they arrived, it must be because the city cares about its players, which would include caring about how they perform when playing on the Oakland Athletics, who happen to be a PROFESSIONAL baseball team (not sure if I mentioned this yet or not). Still think the area does not care about baseball at the professional level????????????
NFL being best case scenario??????? Umm, sorry to burst your bubble sweetheart, but what makes you think an area that is currently struggling to come up with a plan for an indoor arena with a capacity of approximately 16000 -17000 would be able to magically come up with a plan for a STADIUM with a capacity of like approximately 65000 (most probably more than that even)????? I am confused with your thinking...
The only reason baseball is being seriously considered is because we already have a BASEBALL stadium (minor league) and it probably won't be too difficult to renovate Raley Field and turn it into a MLB stadium. Football, however, is not going to happen; sorry to have burst your bubble, but that's just reality...
