Casspi is going to be a beast next year. Donte is gonna have to work VERY hard to earn that starting spot, because at what point does performance rank out over size and potential with flashes? Very quickly....

I would say based on Summer League they were both pretty even with donte looking superior if anyone was. Casspi played very selfishly and he will have to change come regular season.

Casspi looked out of step with his teammates in summer league, I'd agree. But that whole thing is pretty thrown together. Half the players are just trying to earn a tryout and the other half are playing together for the first time in many cases. I wouldn't draw too many conclusions from those games. He was a willing passer last year in the rookie-sophomore game. I am a little worried down the line that Casspi and Greene will both prove worthy of starter's minutes and one of the them will have to be moved out of position (ie Donte to SG) or traded. But at the moment, having two young players that are too good for the bench is exactly the type of problem you hope to have next season. Beyond that, we'll have to see how it plays out.
