I know for sure that Arco Arena was inaugurated in 1988, no specific date. This was three years after the team moved to Sacramento and inhabited Arco Arena I on Market Street.

I have a proposition for the new arena. Let's build a new one after ARCO stars falling apart. Who cares if pieces of the arena's roof are falling onto the court during the game? Seriously, when the entire roof falls down, I say that's when we start discussing a new arena
