Anyone got one? If so, what you got, what kind of fish you got?

I set up my old 60 gall for freshwater fishes after storing it away for about 13 years. I forgot what a pain in the *** the hobby was.

I gave it up this spring. I've had it with fish. Too much work.

Last fish I had were some cichlids in a 50 gal...cool fish as far as freshies go, but still just too much maintenance for my taste.

I had turtles back when I lived in Davis. (I also kept whatever fast cheap fish that had a chance to stay away from them for a while... turtles are not particularly good playmates for fish)

yes, it WAS a painintheass.

Think I remember Gargy starting a similar thread a couple off seasons back, back when all my fish were still living.
I kind of quit like D-Mass, taking care of fish was a hassle after a while.

Edit:
It was a Kmart23 thread but my memory is good enough to remember Gargy posting his fish up.

The tanks I described there, I had about 15 years ago. Those were the good ole days when I knew nothing about nitrates and nitrites and thought topping the tank off was "good enuff" water change. Consequently, my 55 would get ich twice a year.

Right now I got the following going:

young tinfoil barb
v. small Boesemani rainbow
v. small 3-spot/blue gourami
adult red/blue dwarf gourami
adult powder blue dwarf gourami (unbelievable color on this one)
small tiger spot sailfin pleco
1 silver angel (also had a koi angel that got sucked onto the side of a powerhead)

Contemplating a few more milder demeanored fish down the road. Any suggestions, Mad D?
