Haven't heard anything about him on newspapers and no highlights or anything on ESPN

You might want to check back in the threads. We've had several discussions about him. And there have been several about whether or not it was a good trade to begin with.

Bottom line for me is that Doug, as much as I liked him, is no longer a King. I will remember fondly the time he spent here, but life goes on. He's not going to be mentioned in the local papers. You might want to try the Orlando Sentinel or check Orlando Magic boards.

For the record, he HAS been mentioned a couple of times on ESPN. It was about a week ago, I believe, that he had a season high 6 steals in a game.

Doug's just an aging player on a non-contending team now. Not a highlight or story sort of guy (at least unless they do that reality TV nightmare).

i miss him but..... i'm cool with the trade until mobley airballs a wide open, game winning, 3ball at the end of a game 7..... until then it was nice while it lasted.

I miss DC...and it was bad trade (see standing)

trading DC was not bad per se but trading him for Mobley still makes no sence unless we trade Pedja for a defensive/rebounding player.

i think doug was a better fit for the kings than cuttino. i love the cat's offensive skills, but his head never seems to be in the right place. plus i think the kings miss have a defensive minded perimeter guy.

"Head never seems to be in the right place". This is the first I have heard this.

Doug's perimeter D was down this year.

I miss him terribly. I always put on my DC1 t-shirts and think about him. He was so fun to watch. I have a hard time thinking that age caught up with him. He is still a scrappy hard playing guy. I think others on the Kings look like age is catching up with them more than DC ever did.

I don't miss his decling defense and non-existent offensive skills at all. What I do miss are his heart and desire, but it was evident at the tail end of last year and this year that his heart and desire were not going to be enough. I think that Petrie did an excellent job in trading him for Cat because I really don't think that there were a bunch of teams lining up to take DC and his pretty good sized contract for this seaon and next.

Doug who ?

Just kidding. Upon some thinking, I'm not even sure if Mobley was an improvement, considering that he is taking away shots from Pedja (and some are FORCED shots) and not really doing much on defense. The only "advantage" is that he'll be able to do that for a couple of extra years...

Taking shots away from Pedja.....Pedja hasn't played.

i don't get my opinions from the grapevine. he's a guy that gets technicals at the wrong time, who considers his team better than the team that defeated his team 7 times in a row, who seems to worry more about how he's perceived as a player than as a team member. i think he could be better if his head were in the right place.
