Any word on BJax and Peja?

Any word on when either or both BJax and Peja are going to return? Anything you've heard, anything at all?

peja should be back for tusedays game..and bobby..i dont know about him..at the game last night...he warmed up with the team and then when the team was in the locker room he would run spirts and practice his shots...he has a cast on his arm still...so im not sure about him

Bobby Jackson will return next season. Peja Stojakovic will return either against the Charlotte Bobcats or the Orlando Magic. I don't have a source, but this is what has been said.

I haven't seen this here, but there was a little blurb in the Sacramento Bee on Saturday:

"Jackson is looking forward to getting the cast off his left wrist Thursday and the pins removed via minor surgery so he can begin rehabilitating and strenghtening

Jackson is with the team this weekend for support as well as returning to his native North Carolina when the Kings plau in Charlotte on Tuesday night."

After that, there is some talk about Geoff Petrie saying that the team will pick up the option on the final year of Jackson's contract, and that that is something that Jackson actually wants (as opposed to his earlier requests for the team to not pick it up).

I believe he is done for the regular season but there is hope he could return for the playoffs? Not sure, but that is the last info I remember.

The story has consistaly been that Bobby was unlikely to return this season but could be available in the play offs. It certinly looks as if he is on that scedual, keeping in shape by running (note to OTag, maybe you could join the little guy) and was shown in the pregame show before the Wizzards game practing his shot with the cast on.
Bottom Line: We have every reason to expect Bobby in the line up during the paly offs, rusty but ready.

I'd quip that this is a contract year, but the Kings have already said they were going to pick up the option on Bobby so I'll be kind.

Thought I would revive this thread. They just interviewed Bobby on the radio and he get's his cast off next week and then it's a matter of rehab. Says he is in great shape and has been working out. He thinks he will be back by the end of this month or the first part of next month. My guess is the 4/10 game against the Lakers. That would give him 5 games to get ready for the playoffs.

Yes its this thursday BJax gets his cast off.
