My artist roommate made a suggestion about keeping the Wheaties boxes. You may not want to keep the cereal around for a long time. Then again, if you use the cereal, you could flatten the box for storing.
I want to keep it looking like a full cereal box, but don't want to keep cereal that could (over time) attract vermin. She suggested carefully opening the bottom of the box (so that it looks like an unopened box), removing the cereal, and replacing it with a block of styrofoam that you can cut to size. You can get that at any craft store, i.e. Michaels, Wishing Well, etc.
Anyone else have ideas for keeping this special new "keepsake" of our Champion Sacramento Monarchs?
