Yeah, it's definitely going to be an interesting summer. THIS is the true fork in the road off-season, depending on what Vivek will allow or not. The Kings could truly be set up for massive success in a few years if they chose to tear this thing down and ship out Domas/Monk/DDR/LaVine for spare parts this off-season and just accept being bad for a few years. Wait out the end of Bron/Steph/AD/Kyrie/Harden/Kawhi's career and have a team ready to pounce when a lot of the current elite players get aged out. We have all our picks back and the few we got from the Fox deal. And judging by what we're seeing and hearing about this off-season, I think a lot of teams are incredibly antsy to push their chips in now.
Again, fans would have an absolute blast watching Carter/Keon/Keegan all get 35+ minutes a game next season. Because at least we'd have a future to look forward to and a reasonable path to being a great team down the line. We missed our window with this core after beam team 1. That was supposed to be our ascension to the top of the West and we've fallen for 2 years straight.

I can't shake the feeling one of those guys gets traded in what feels like a throw-in.I hope he knows what he's got in Keegan, Keon, and Carter. If Perry and Christie want to commit to a defensive identity, those three are the place to begin. Everybody else can be traded for whatever picks and spare parts they can get back.

Wiggins gives us defense and athleticism problems gets Keegan off the number one scorer every game too. Miami saves I believe 5 million per year doing this trade

Especially if they want to get off Robinson’s contract still and JJJ has fallen out of coach’s favor.Much
And Wiggins is probably declining that option so he's also an ender. I can't see the Heat giving that up though. I would think they'd add DeRozan to Wiggins. That's just a very lateral move for them.

Without looking at salaries, would they add a Poetl to help with salary balance? They have so many wings that if a deal happened, would like to add wings to the roster. It would be our best chance to add wings by trading DomasGoing to need IQ and 4+ FRP to even think about it, including 9.

They have held internal discussions? Is that just poor phrasing or does he mean the Raptors have considered pursuing Sabonis and the Kings have considered moving him?
Quickley is...just not that special. Not a great defender, doesn't have special size, pretty good shooter but that's about it. I have trouble seeing him as ever being a top-15 PG and he's on the books for $32.5M for four more years. I'm not sure that's a great piece for a tanking team. Barrett stinks, but at least his contract is a bit smaller and two years shorter. Barrett I can at least see getting sloughed off at the deadline this year or next for not-completely-nothing.Going to need IQ and 4+ FRP to even think about it, including 9.

Agbaji shot well this year and is a good defender, so I'd look for him as well. Toronto actually has all of their FRPs available, so yeah, #9, three more unprotected, and some swaps...
But realistically, man I hope we don't hit the tank button.
