The "Reef House" is an afterschool safe haven for kids on the outskirts of Atlanta, a labor of love where Abdur-Rahim has poured his resources and his soul into using his hoops career to have a positive influence.

The article talks about how and why SAR started "Reef House" and how important it is to the kids involved.

Major props to SAR ... and to Amick for telling the story. It's nice to have something to feel good about.

I hope Shareef can do some big man coaching for Shelden, I think he could use it. Maybe after his career is over he can assistant coach for us. He seems like a pretty cool dude, and it's great to hear about things like this.
