He's probably hanging around the butcher's block. Is Zion even on the trading block?
I think it’s more like “why wouldn’t he be?”Is Zion even on the trading block?
Probably. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in purple. Is Zion even on the trading block?
How does anyone in Sacramento take Ham seriously? I never understood.
The contract doesn't return draft picks or more talent if he is fat though. So basically it saves the Kings some money while doing nothing for the fans.I don’t know if it’s sustainable, but right now and over the last 6 months he has dropped a lot of weight and is in good shape. He’s still not playing much but at least has put in the effort recently. I think there’s a ‘don’t be fat’ clause in his contract as well
I disagree. We are 3.5 games out of 5th and have been playing well. Playing well without/despite Fox. We seemed to be better with Monk running things and if we can plug in a Collins type player next to Sabonis or even a legit backup center we are a better team. I don’t buy the “we are going nowhere fast”
Also, over our next 12 games we play Portland, Utah, Charlotte, NO 3 times lol, GS and Orlando at home and an injured Dallas and Minny team. Lots of winnable games.
I take the over.Over or under on something actually get done before this thread gets to 100
They don't necessarily need a PG back in the trade to replace Fox in the lineup, but they will eventually need to figure out how to replace the pressure he puts on a defense, especially if they're going to continue to be a below-average three-point shooting team. Even if DDR decides he wants to stick it out with a post-Fox Kings team, he's not a long-term solution as a go-to option.
Yeah, you’re taking a swing that he can get his act together and get healthy, but I’m more okay with taking that swing when you’re being forced to send out a star who doesn’t want to be here anymore.Maybe it's just I'm so numb to this stupid team, that a Zion package is growing on me. Just go for maximum "fun" at this point.
Makes senseI’m not convinced that a Monk Sabonis pick and roll can’t be that go to solution. I heard an interesting point on the Simmons show that Fox and Sabonis struggle a bit because both are primarily left handed. They were saying it in terms of Fox and Wemby but it would also be true of Monk and Sabonis. That may be partly why Monk can make some passes to Domas that Fox doesn’t make

I heard that too (Fox and Domas both being lefty breaks their continuity) so that’s interesting.I’m not convinced that a Monk Sabonis pick and roll can’t be that go to solution. my dude out here doubling down lol
The longer I've looked at Monk, the more I believe he's a fantastic 6th man, but not a pg starter. It's not because he doesn't have the physical tools for pg, it's just that he doesn't have the consistently strong mental approach for the starting pg position. It's not who he is. Too much up and down in his performances. One game he looks great, the next he's throwing it to God knows who. I really think it's because the mental part of the game wears him down. That's why he was sooo happy that Fox did come back from injury; it took some of the pressure off him at the pg position. If the Kings bring some athletic length for Fox I think Monk can hold down the fort, but I'm not betting on him as a long term answer.
I’d be all over a package with Ware!!
I don’t think a package like this is likely because everything indicates the team wants win now pieces or at least 1 win now piece
All three of those pieces could help us win noe and the future. I don’t think Miami would do all three though.
Rozier isn’t what we are trading for, he is just filler.Terry Rozier is being federally investigated for illegal gambling. I'm not touching him with a 10 ft pole.Plus, the Kings better be getting multilpe 1st round picks in any Fox trade.

If we were getting 5 picks and Zion ok fine. But if Zion is supposed to be a superstar that is equal to Fox when one guy plays 77+ games a year and one guy plays <40 hell no. It may as well be Bagley over Luka again, "but different".
Which may work out if we can get an exception and not pay Rozier if he is banned?Terry Rozier is being federally investigated for illegal gambling. I'm not touching him with a 10 ft pole.Plus, the Kings better be getting multilpe 1st round picks in any Fox trade.

Ware is a high end starter imo. As a starter he is averaging 18 pts 10 reb 1 stl 2 blks 53% fg 40% 3pt 90% ft. Small sample size but I’m a believer.True as rotation pieces. But they are all either low end or unproven starters.
