sure but aside from those three guys, the Heat have like no picks and most of their players are okay at best unless you’re still super high on Jovic and JJJ’s potentials.
Did Rock, Chris Webber and Boogie Cousins (hell, what about Domas) all get erased from history or something?
I do feel like there is a world where Vivek saw us play well without Fox during our win streak and has decided we could be a better team with a fox trade (to rebalance the roster) so lets move forward. Heck a lot of us on this forum (including myself) have posted something similar.... so it's not a crazy view. But it's also the sort of short sighted view that gets you in trouble unless you get the right trade (especially if it's a win-now trade without a lot of draft capital).I have to imagine that one big reason the Kings are reportedly looking for "win now players AND draft capital" is that they could flip that draft capital to land Cam.
But then that somewhat contradicts with Reece’s tweets of Fox not demanding a trade, and if Fox is not demanding a trade in the scenario, why is Rich Paul leaking the info when the Spurs are already talking with the Kings? What’s the advantage?
Any Miami offer should start with Ware + Herro + Jovic/Jaime + picks.

Rozier wouldn't play much here, i am assuming he would be the salary matching component for the trade if Jovic and Ware( really doubtful) are the other piecesI have been watching Rozier for a long time. He is not very good and is not a winner. But he is a shoot-first guard--exactly what the Kings do not need.
Say he's the best player we ever drafted. Boogie and Peja the only ones that can otherwise make a case and I think Fox has a strong one.DEARRON FOX IS THE FIFTH BEST PLAYER SACRAMENTO YAS EVER SEEN
Just doesn’t get those engagement clicks nearly as much.
No because you still get a year of healthy Fox next year. San Antonio maybe should consider having him get the surgery if they trade and take one last lotto pick (assuming they trade us ATL's picks), plus it allows teams that won't have 50-60 million in cap space in 2026 to get in on the action while only having to shed about 35.Are fox’s messed up hands not coming into play here? I would Assume that would be a huge minus for any team looking to trade for him right now.
Reports that seem undisputed are that the Kings got a great offer Sunday or Monday night and brought it to Klutch. You are assuming Monte called klutch. I tend to think it was the other way around.
Vlade and co mismanaged that New Orleans pick but they could have come out with two all stars from that pick plus we don’t get Fox without the reset the trade caused.

Oh yes I don't dispute that. Just saying that we got nothing for Cousins I don't agree with. Vlade blew the trade by his own admission because in the short time frame it cost us a pic. Incidentally I think that part of this was because he went back to Cousins camp to inquire about the deal? And so it went public and New Orleans got cold feet?I don't dispute the necessity of the reset, and yes, the result of drafting Fox was quite positive. But the reality remains that the Cousins asset was mismanaged. Vlade himself admitted it when he went in front of the media and said he had a better offer for Cousins on the table before ultimately taking the deal that netted Hield, a first rounder, and a second rounder. That's not close to maximum value. Cousins had warts. Injuries would go on to derail his career. But at the time of the trade, he was a monster center playing for a poorly run franchise who could use a change of scenery. Squeeze another first rounder out of the trade and you give yourself another roll of the dice with which to play. Mismanage the asset and you end up with fewer tools to improve the roster and fewer chances to improve the overall health of your franchise. Good GMs don't blink. They give their franchise as many dice to work with as possible by managing their assets well.
She didn’t lie because Rich didn’t technically request a trade thanks to the semantics of “you should probably trade Fox now and here’s the team you should probably look at trading him to” as opposed to “trade Fox to the Spurs now”Do Recee's tweets not matter? I thought this was just not a big deal anymore but now people say she's a liar?
Why?

Cousins did not have the same value around the league that Fox does I don't think.
I'd prefer not to trade him but he chose to sign with Klutch and that's where this inevitably is going. I think we'll get the best offers now, but I agree we have time if one is not to our liking to move in the offseason. The sooner a team gets him the more flexibility they have before the extension is signed, including time to evaluate their next move. There are few teams to which I think adding Fox today puts them in the finals this season. So the extra half season is pretty key, even if he is playing with a jacked up hand and not 100%.I'd agree that Cousins did not have the same value around the league as Fox does today. That's why it's doubly important for Monte to get this right. My preference would be not to trade Fox, personally, but if it's a marriage that's destined for an acrimonious split, better to move him while his value is high. Just don't pull the trigger unless you're getting maximum value back. Uncomfortable though it may be, wait for the off-season if teams are playing the "let's low-ball 'em; they're the Kangz; they'll f*** this up" game as the deadline approaches.
Neither is winning a championship as a #1. Unless we are imagining a world where Zion steals Sabonis's determination, toughness and health. That Zion mightSabonis isn’t winning you a championship as a #1. Zion could be.
Would be awesome all around.Kings would probably win in that case ( unless he completely stops defending) and value would go upWatch Fox go for 40 tonight.
HB probably: “You can bunk with me”I’m guessing Fox wants to go to the Spurs because he is nervous about playing for a team with no Iowa players.

Two things can be true at once though. There's too much smoke in the room for Recee to go around telling everybody there's no fire.
People on twitter mad at KC for calling her out, it's like dude's broadcast partner in all likelihood took a call from Rich Paul stating the trade demand and as a bat signal to let bidding begin. There's too much smoke in the room for Recee to go around telling everybody there's no fire.
