Am I hearing things?

Or did Bill Walton actually say something good about the kings when he said we are going to be a dominant force in the playoffs.

Check the game discussion thread. There are a myriad of comments about this very thing...

Keep one thing in mind, however. This is Bill Walton you're quoting. He can not only change his mind from game to game, I have actually heard him do a complete 180 in the same game and even in the same quarter.

;)

he also called francisco garcia a promising point guard and kevin martin a rookie.... so take that with a grain of salt

I'm also sure - even though I didn't watch ESPN - that he used the word "HORRIBLE" at least four times and most likely referred to Adelman as a genius and a coach for the ages.

:D

Actually it was the PBP guy who called Martin a rookie. The PBP was pretty bad. He sounded like a videogame announcer, just randomly blurting out things over the commentary.

he did defend ucla as a sleeper against steve snapper jones. a homer? yes but true that they were not sleepers. walton, a modern day philosophical thinker

I actually liked when Walton said "The Kings are playing masterful basketball right now.."

Bill Walton is wierd like that. He can diss on your team, then praise it. But I liked that comment, because more often than not, he isn't saying many good things about our boys. Even when they arent sucking.

Walton still needs to be shot, stuffed, and hung over somebody's mantlepiece with duct tape over his mouth. Whether he is spewing diarrhea for your team or against, its irrelevant. He's still pathetic.

Walton says good things about teams that are playing well. That is the Law of Walton. During the course of a game, either team can go on a stretch where they play well, this does not violate Walton's Law.
