Alternative Music Draft Voting - Can you believe it?

Orkie dorkie. Finally had a few minutes to sit down and figure this all out so we can commence with the first bit of voting. Since the number of people in the draft (and the number of people who actually sent rankings, tsk tsk) were wonky for a playoff format, some finagling had to be done.

Before rankings and explanations, however, just want to thank everyone for being patient with me. I never expected to have so many distractions as the draft came to an end, and certainly didn't expect those distractions to keep me from starting this thread.

*As an aside, this is the first time that I've been involved in any kind of fantasy draft, so if there's anything I figured wrong, please let me know via PM and we'll get it fixed*

So, on to the rest!

Since not getting rankings from everyone meant that a few people had more votes than the rest, I assigned each place a point total and then figured an average based on the total number of votes received for each drafter. Unless there is some mathematical weirdness that I didn't account for (which, since I'm in full vacation mode, is entirely possible), this should sufficiently even the playing field.

Also, due to the fact that we had only ten drafters, the top six spots all get a first-round bye. For that reason, I haven't yet taken the time to split off into conferences or put together an actual bracket. All of that will be coming in the second round.

I do wish voting was open in these like it was in the original music draft if only so I could know who the nice people that I haven't identified already are that share a taste for the finer trashier things in life. But I do get that whole petty vengeance angle.
