Was just curious who you would have as your 1st and 2nd team all NBA all time You will probably be able to figure out what era I grew up in with my picks.
1st team:
PG-Magic
SG-Jordan
SF-Bird
PF-Duncan
C-Olajuwan ( the Jordan of centers. Guy was unstoppable)
2nd Team:
PG-West (initially was going to go with Isiah Thomas, but this man is the logo for God's sake).
SG-Kobe(I just threw up a bit).
SF-Robertson (guy was phenomenal and way ahead of his time in terms of talent)
PF-Mchale (any guy that both Thomas and Barkley say is the greatest PF ever is OK in my book. The guy was a beast).
C-Jabbar (this one was very difficult. Do you go with Jabbar, Shaq or Wilt. I think Wilt is great and all and I think his game would translate well to today's game, but I think he benefited from playing at a time when he was just so much bigger, stronger and more athletic than everyone else. Some may say the same about Shaq but he played in a time where guys were equally athletic. He was still stronger and bigger though. In the end Jabbar was just the most complete C).
3rd team would have the likes of Thomas, Malone, Barry, Wilkins etc.
