ALL-STAR FOX

Being drafted by the Kings has long been a tough position for any prospect of note, so it's great that we've got another home-grown talent headed to the All-Star game! And it's especially great that it's happening during a season with legitimate playoff aspirations. It was unfortunate that things never worked out quite so well for DeMarcus Cousins, but I'm thrilled that De'Aaron is getting the nod while the Kings are ascendant, "injury replacement" designation be damned.

Man. Thinking about Cousins whole career arc and now already 6 years into Fox's career... We've been in the dumps WAY too damn long as a franchise. So fun we actually get to enjoy a season for once.

Not to mention that fan voting is greatly influenced by who they see on TV. Fox pretty much never being on national TV dooms him from the getgo.
It also kills the media vote although they will all pretend they watch every game on league pass. They watch highlights.

Hard disagree. theres good reason why those guys make peanuts compared to De'Aaron.

Would Mike Brown have even wanted to come here if not for De'Aaron?

Dont think this is really a matter of 'did the chicken come before the egg'...

Possibly - because of McNair - who has proven to be an expert at contructing a roster. A coach wants a GM who can build him a roster.

Lotta guys make more than Monte. He's the best we've had since Petrie and it's not close and there's a reason why our team is the best it's been since Petrie. (Both Princeton men btw). There are plenty of stars that wile away their most productive years on mediocre teams - Mitch Richmond comes to mind.

It takes both.

Austin Reaves was ahead of Fox for most of the voting period. Hopefully that’s the straw that breaks the camel’s back and makes them change the system.

one approach is to eliminate multiple voting by one user but then to counter, you will have people using VPN's and continue to vote.
