My son wants to go to cali for spring break and visit friends. his friends are
at NAS or NAF Lemoore(sp?) my question is, which is the closest airport?
LAX, San Fran, or Sac...

If you are talking Lemoore Naval Air Station, California, I suspect he should fly into Sacramento or San Francisco, whichever is cheaper. Frisco is closer, but more difficult to negotiate. I think there are more flights into Frisco. Yeah, Frisco. Los Angeles may even be closer, but I don't go to LA unless I have to do so.

If you have to go to Lemoore, this is the season.

Fresno is by far the closeset to Lemore NAS at one hour. The drive down 5 from Sac would be 3 1/2 hours and 3 from SF

Fresno would be an ideal destination. Can a person catch a normal scheduled flight to Fresno now, or do you have to transfer to a puddle jumper? What would it cost to fly from Sacramento to Fresno? No joke.

The only thing better would be a military flight to Lemoore NAS.
