AEG confirmed as operator of O.co Coliseum

It's a five year deal.

Also remember that the Warriors have plans to move to a new San Francisco arena for the 2017-18 season. You do the math.

The contract approved Monday by a 7-1 vote includes provisions that would severely limit AEG from wooing any team to a city within 50 miles of Oakland. But there is nothing to keep the company from luring the Warriors, Raiders or A's to a city outside that boundary. Antitrust laws prevent an outright ban.

AEG's cooperation on an arena in Sac is done for the time being.
Since 2015 is shot for opening the ESC in Sacramento, the very soonest would be 2016. So AEG wouldn't even have anything here to operate anyway for most of the Oakland contract. So it doesn't wipe out the possibility of AEG being involved. Perhaps the Raiders is the actual reason since AEG is heavily into the LA NFL stadium deal.

Don't think so. In fact, it would help because now whatever they book can do Oakland one night and Sacramento the next or vice versa.
Yes, I wouldn't count AEG out of Sacramento, The city is now gearing up to look at other options to build the arena without the Kings.

Keep in mind this is for the stadium and not the arena.

I just found it interesting that the deal is for 5 years and that's when the Warriors would like to open up an arena across the bay.

To me this is more about trying to get the Raiders to LA in Farmer's Field.
