Just a thought, O'brien was fired today. All of you guys seem to love to whine about Adelman not preaching defense enough and wanting a new King's coach to go along with a new team. I hope Adelman leaves and reunites with C-Webb making Philly one of the top notch eastern conference teams.

A lot of people on Philly boards were interested in Rick, but reports are that they already hired Mo -- probably wanted to make sure they had the hometown coach lined up before they dumped O'Brien rather than waiting to see what happened with Rick and other coaches and getting into a bidding war.

That just might be the reason the Maloofs locked him up when they did. With him on board, they can focus on other things. If someone they like better becomes available they can ditch him.
