Did they eye test match the stats?
I think that tweet needs to be updated slightly.

He got some token minutes at the very end, so probably not hurt.Did Carter get hurt or is he back in the doghouse for whatever reason?

Why be pissed about something that was never going to happen?Still pissed we agreed to trade Fox without getting Castle.
ngl...Same...I'm sorry. I only made it to Jennifer Love Hewitt, and the rest of the list seemed not as important.

I honestly think there's a huge spotlight right now on the bottom 5. Not a coincidence our 2 best active players (Keegan/DDR) get extended for huge minutes. Monk plays 27. We haven't extended the vets like this in almost a month.
Could also just be Doug feeling the heat of the losing streak. I don't care how "committed" the team says we are to him, it's hard to keep a coach around that's "leading" a 20+ game losing streak
Yeah, I agree that we probably could have gotten more. And that we should have gotten more.Seriously. We probably could have gotten Vassel or Johnson or Sochan (lol) instead of the nothing burger we got though.
Castle was almost assuredly never ever on the table, even if Fox didn’t nuke the negotiating power.
Leading the G League is DJ Rodman, brother of Tiffany Rodman, and son of Dennis, at 60.7% on 38 attempts.I guess not. He is shooting 17% from three. What kind of guard is that? You can find a dozen in the G League who are better shooters.
I was still in Boston the year Duncan was coming into the league and wanted the Celtics to get him. I was actually pretty ok with the Spurs up until that point as Sean Elliott is probably my favorite college player of all time. But you know whatever, damn the luck. When Duncan retires and they have a few down years then get Wemby plus multiple lotto hits and Fox demands to go there and we basically are forced to give him up for worse than free, I will now hate that franchise until the day I die.I have a disdain for the Spurs that doesn’t make sense even to me.
This organization doesn't set any sensible culture standard for playing time, so that isn't likely part of the reason
Can Christie suffer a 28-game losing streak like the Rockets awhile ago? Sad thing is the trend is three #5 picks in the last 3 drafts for the worst team in the NBA each year. Luckily the draft is stronger.I honestly think there's a huge spotlight right now on the bottom 5. Not a coincidence our 2 best active players (Keegan/DDR) get extended for huge minutes. I think pretty much all pro sports do to some degree
Not sure Keon situation, which you guys seem really intent on, totally negates it here. He was putting impact stats, but he's a fairly dimensional guard who was having a worse season here, who two coaches, including the second best coach of the Sacramento era didn't see fit to play for whatever reason. He may have returned more than Hunter if whatever was going on with him was such a mistake
As for Devin, we can't know what's going on behind the scenes for sure, only take what it looks like from the outside. I know many Kings fans want to hope the best for this player, but let's actually entertain the scenario that there is a logical reason for his role this year. Imagine the new administration comes in and gets a whiff of his behavior behind the scenes and immediately puts him on the trade block, Devin has the work ethic of someone shooting 17% from 3 with a steep climb down in G league shooting as well (and shooting can be somewhat attributed to repetitions), with diet whispers from his rookie season, what would you do with a player like that other than what we are seeing? Do you reward him with playing time? Do you hold out hope he gets the picture from lack of minutes? I dont know
"behavior behind the scenes". Are there actual discussions or soft reports about this by anyone with insider knowledge, or just an assumption that this must be happening?
“Behavior behind the scenes” there just means the new administration learning about his behavior/traits, whatever they are
No, you couldn't, because Murray's game has improved in every aspect over his rookie season, except for his shooting. Are you assuming his behavior and work ethic must not be professional, because he hasn't produced up to his draft position yet?
If so, you could then assume that Murray's behavior hasn't been good since his first year, because his shooting numbers went well down.
