In some ways, it was a real double oddity from jump Street. We were drafting a guy who never played point and was undersized for the two who had an injury and wasn’t going to be able to work out with the team for months. If we thought he was an awesome 2 guard OK good enough maybe you picked a little high for what you got or maybe you stole a player who is undervalued to the injury. But then even before his rehab is over, words out his destined to play the point guard. He shows moments of promise and definitely shows a defensive energy that is worth it weight and gold but so far this is not translated into impact player. One way or the other, the kings have to have a highly functional starting point guard who has his best games ahead of himbefore the start of next season. If they want to keep the Carter experiment going another season fine but give him guys to help him be successful and don’t depend on him to carry the load at the 1.
