After the distractions, let’s hope the team can step up and stay focused. Looking forward to Carter getting some more time on the court, and hopefully Isaac Jones as well. This needs to be one of those gritty games in which you win any which way you can, especially if Edwards is playing

Deven Carter Starting?

I'd guess:

Monk
Ellis
DeRozan
Murray
Sabonis

But plenty of backup guard minutes for Carter since he's really the only bench guard tonight.

McBuckets will likely get the minutes behind DDR. Lyles likely gets most of the 4/5 backup minutes, especially if Naz Reid does play. Len probably only sees the floor if Domas is in foul trouble and they need a matchup with Gobert.

Hopefully this is a bounce-back game and we see a re-invigorated Kings team. We're 1-4 in the last five after that 10-1 stretch. Now 11-6 with Doug overall. If we win tonight it could spark a run as we have a relatively soft schedule over the 10 games following and don't see a team with a good record again until Houston on March 1st. Really looking for energy tonight more than anything.

A little artificial energy is much needed after a long road trip, a couple of butt whippings, and a reality check. Some guys might be thankful they know where they staying as well.

Wow, Minnesota must be desperate selling $1 tickets. Did you rent a Greyhound bus to take your 20 friends? Three hours is going to take several cases of Minnesota suds. Or maybe a keg.
Oh...wait. Did I misunderstand?

I guess both of us misunderstood.

Target field is one of my favorite ballparks. Go Kings! Ready for the Monk era to begin. This is your team homie

It looks like Crowder may get some real minutes for the first time since the last time they visited Minneapolis, in November.

Also, I wonder if Jawad Williams is the assigned coach for Malik Monk?
