Mister Slim Says: This game is on League Pass, but it's scheduled to tip off at (roughly) 8pm Pacific. In case you're not familiar with the way the NBA's scheduling works, this means that this game was originally supposed to be on NBC/Peacock, but got flexed out in favor of the Pistons/lakers game.

After a fairly humiliating loss, Sacramento heads up the road a piece to face the Los Angeles Clippers of Inglewood. Sunday was pretty much the worst possible outcome for anybody who's not all-in on the tank. Which is, to say, the Kings by a huge margin to a division rival, with a heavy vet rotation, and only Raynaud getting over 25 minutes among the youth. They get to play an underperforming and desperate Clippers team that, even with Ivica Zubac injured, has a height and length advantage over the Kings at nearly every position, and is not trying to lose, record notwithstanding.

Just play the kids, Doug, I don't care about the outcome, as long as the kids play big minutes.

No poll today?
I created this thread hours ago, and then "hid" it using mod powers... The nature of this software makes it annoying to include a poll in a "hidden" thread, so I left a note for whichever mod was around when it was time to "un-hide" it (since I knew it probably wasn't going to be me), that I would add a poll when I got back around to it. This is the first time I've been back online since around 10:30am California time.

All of that to say... it's there now.

Fair enough. But aren't a lot of Californians vegetarians, like me?

Keegan has been cleared to play in this one. But Kawhi Leonard scored a career-high 55 points last time out. And he always plays well against the Kings.

It could be yet another new starting lineup for Sacramento: Raynaud, Achiuwa, Murray, Ellis, and Westbrook. That's only a guess.

I’m adding water chestnuts as my third option. Bake the bacon wrapped water chestnuts (use a toothpick to hold them together while baking), coat them with a ketchup and brown sugar glaze, and bake a little more. Fantastic 4 ingredient appetizer.

Interesting. Water chestnuts don't necessarily do a lot for flavor, but the texture component here is intriguing.

Ooh. Nice call.

I don’t like bacon on anything. Happy to eat it on its own but imo it overpowers anything it gets added to.
I can understand this opinion, but pepperoni and bacon pizza is great, sprinkle it on mac and cheese or loaded mashed potatoes, added to a house salad, etc., it’s all good on my end.

There is a lot on the line for Keegan Murray tonight. He has never had a month other than November (all 4 years) that he has shot less than 30 percent from 3. He’s at 26 percent in December. 2-2 gets him over the hump. 2-3? Nope. 3-5? Yep

Dang. Of course DeMar will start instead of Ellis.

Deuce and Mo saying that Eubanks is back tonight, and Cardwell is not active. I'm sure this will make everybody sad, but Cardwell only has 41 games of eligibility left on his two-way, and the Kings have 50 games left, so he's gotta sit sometime.
Or in the interest of the team they could just wave Eubanks and give a full contract to Cardwell.

Doesn't seem like something the team would do when they have the option of just sending him to Stockton for nine games. Don't want to waive Eubanks when you might need to use him in a deal, or might have a deal down the road that brings in an extra player that forces a player to be waived. What if you did that, and then all of a sudden had to waive Cardwell?

There you go being all logical stuff I’m just sick of Eubanks game. I want to see more Cardwell. May have to visit my kid up in Stockton a bit more this year.
