Heah Kings fans...I miss the Kings so bad and this awesome website and great fans here since I moved back to Illinois 3 yrs ago. The Bulls are supposed to go deep into the Eastern playoffs with their great offseason! The Kings are looking very good with their youth especially Evans and Cousins!
Here is a trade a Bulls fan posted to help both our teams:
What do you guys think?

To Bulls: Carmelo Anthony
To Nuggets: Jason Thompson, Omri Casspi, James Johnson and Picks
To Kings: Luol Deng, Taj Gibson and Cash
* The Bulls would be at 11 players...just add Earl Barron and Patrick Beverley.
SACRAMENTO is how the Bulls can get Melo.

Deng is getting almost $13M/year average over the next four years. I can't see giving up Casspi for him, much less turning JT into Taj Gibson. This is just some Bulls fans trying to get Carmelo. I don't see us being involved in any Deng deal because of the salary.

The $51 million left on Deng's deal makes this a ridiculously preposterous trade idea. No way the Kings are involved in any trade that brings an average player in for almost $13 million a year.

JT = Taj
Deng = overpriced
Casspi = To young with too high potential to trade unless it's a no brainer

That trade is simply atrocious for Sacramento. If neither Greene nor Casspi steps up, I could see the Kings possibly entertaining the idea of facilitating a Melo trade by taking on Deng for a trade exception. But certainly not for assets like Thompson and Casspi.

No way we are touching Deng. Not just because he has a lot of years left on a terrible contract, but because his style is a bad fit for the team as well.

We have talked about various 3-way 'Melo trades throughout the offseason, and I haven't seen a single realistic one that benefits the Kings. I think Petrie is smart enough to keep from getting involved in any 'Melo trades.

This is not an upgrade for the Kings. If Petrie trades at this point he needs to upgrade the 2,3 or 4 spot in the starting rotation. Deng and Gibson are not significatly better than JT and Omri.

I recorded the Kings last game and tonight's game I'll record since we get the NBA package for free until Tuesday! I can see the Kings in Illinois! Not often that happens outside of that sneak peak NBA deal at the beginning of the season!

I haven't watched many Kings games regrettably since I moved back to Illinois 3.5 yrs ago but Deng is a good player, borderline All-Star but he does get too much $ I agree.
Taj Gibson is a great value and has started for the Bulls last year and is again this year with Boozer being out after punching the wall when his X took her talents to South Beach. lol
The Bulls really need Deng to step it out and help Rose until Boozer gets back.

The Bulls fan generating this deal showed the Kings benefiting the most but I guess that is from a biased view. LOL

What did you guys get for KMart again? Hate to see him go but Evans and him didn't compliment each other and he can work under Adelman like Brad Miller did this year.

I'm looking forward to watching a few Kings games and seeing Evans and Cousins especially and the great height that is now on the team, something that was sorely missed in the past since Webber/Divak! Go KINGS!!!
