> I know they look kinda crazy, but Petrie has pulled off weirder moves.

forgot to mention something

since basically everyone on trade#3 (except Hinrich) is off the books after this season, we let all the contracts expire, sign Cisco and Beno for a reasonable amount, then try to go for OKAFOR:D

So, the Bulls don't want to include Deng in a package to get Kobe, but they will give up Deng, Hinrich, and Gordon to basically get Bibby, JR Smith, and Kleiza. Why do you think they would do that?

In trade #1, can you really picture Artest on the Jazz? Probably the least likely team that would take him on.

I guess conceivably trade #2 could happen from the perspective of the Nets and Heat, but why in the world would we want Kidd at this point of his career?

I'd estimate about a zero percent chance of any of these trades ever happening.

What makes them fairly likely? Is it because the salaries match, or because there has been expressed interest by all parties?

I don't see the Jazz trading for Newble/Thomas/Artest. Yes, he'd fit in with Utah's "style of play," but I'm pretty sure Artest wouldn't like SLC.

I'm pretty sure that Jason Kidd wants to go to a contender. A contender, we are not.

The third, seems just silly. Why do the Bulls want to blow up their entire team, and how do the Nuggets go for this?

One thing I recommend is to give reasons for why your trades work (besides money), which would help to engage in conversations. Welcome!

Okay, here's the deal. Some of us like to discuss trades BUT you have to take it up a notch around here. Don't just throw names out. Give the pros and cons of the trade, explain why each team might do it. Go the extra distance. Make it worth discussing.

:)

Not in regards to this thread in particular. But it will be interesting to see what happens. As every scenrio with alot of teams have came through this personnel forum. I bet if one does happen the thread starter will be gloating more than usual. Larry the legend has the best chance as he has worked a deal with every team in the NBA as well as us somehow getting Eli Manning for Mike Bibby.

The thread starter can gloat all they want. If you throw enough manure at the side of the barn, some of it is bound to stick.

:p

Pfft. I'd be impressed if he could get us Peyton. Think of the locker room presence.
