It's not exactly a fair indicator of the Pels the Kings had trouble with but yes, so far DeRozan helped BIG TIME.

Pels are just not a good matchup for us. Got a bit jittery at the end but props to the Kings for coming out strong in the third quarter and getting to work on both ends of the floor.

I'd like to say Monk/Fox/Huerter won't shoot 3-19 from 3 in a future match-up, but the way the Kings have shot this year, can't really make that promise.

So I'd like to BELIEVE they won't shoot that poorly all the time.

It wasn't the most aesthetically pleasing game. Monk had some exciting moments.

Plus I'd like to believe our next meeting would see Devin Carter out there, hopefully making a difference.

it’s nothing the Pels did other than CJ. huge lead and they nearly Phoenix Sunned us. Two bad turnovers, 2 bad shots and can’t stop that man. Plus the Kings played like garbage outside of the third quarter.

that said, if they play like that again against them yeh, we are screwed

Also while this isn't the full strength NOP squad, this is still hell of a lot better than they've been trotting out all year. Murphy, CJ and Murray all have missed quite a bit of time this season. I believe they've only all just come back in the last couple weeks.

It'll be interesting to see what teams eventually do on that Monk/Domas pick and roll. This was the first team that hedged up into Monk and didn't drop off of him. That might eventually open more shots for Keegan and Fox off that action.
