Pacers showing themselves to be the better team in this series. They’ve got one foot in the finals and should close out the series; however, 3-1 deficits have been overcome (e.g., Denver did it twice during Covid in Orlando; Golden State overcame OKC in the conference finals and Cleveland in the finals; and Houston, Phoenix and Detroit). That said, as much as it pains me and makes me wonder “what if Halliburton stayed”, I’d prefer to see the Pacers get there than the Knicks.

Where do the Knicks go from here? Bridges is no longer a consistently good defender. They can’t have 3 below average defenders (bridges, water bug and big softy) in the starting lineup. I’d be trying to trade Bridges and picks for Durant but I don’t think they will do that

Don’t get me started on Siakam. I don’t know how many debates I had on here about why I thought he would fit well with our team. Old, bad shooter, terrible fit with Fox, etc etc. were the constant flood of responses I got. Some terrible takes here that only took a look at his shooting numbers when he was the Raptors lead option and had no PG that got him open.
