2023 TRADE DEADLINE MEGATHREAD

Don't blame the Lakers. Other teams can make offers too.

Also, it's not like Mo Bamba is some world beater. He gets winded after 20 minutes. They should've kept Thomas Bryant.
Logically, Bryant gives you effort and could be a big help on different nights offensively, whereas Mo Bamba could be of help defensively but maybe not much else otherwise. I'm not sure it's an improvement either way, to be honest... haha

The western conference teams just won't go away. This is Monte's pat on the head moment. Other teams clearly feel that Sac is a pretender or is bound to drop down the standings.

Bamba hasn't really been a huge defender or anything aside from being physically long thus far in his career though

Bamba is an ok bench player. They days of hoping he becomes anything more than that are over. The Magic tried to make him a major rotation player and it didn't work out. He will give you a really solid 15 minutes and then his play will fall off dramatically. It's not like we missed out on much here.

The only Fox stoppers these days are usually those with length and quick feet. Pat Bev left that category for at least a few years.
Thybulle has given him problems in the past. Smaller sample size. Portland just landed him. That will be interesting. 3 more vs them.

Dort in the past but Fox did pretty well last time around

It was a big mistake playing Metu over Holmes this season if the lack of interest holds out. He was obviously the new K9/JT in the making once Monte held onto him after last deadline but the question now is whether Monte attaching a 1st to him on draft night even gets him moved.

It's why Thybulle is a DPOY contender. His unorthodox style with his 6'5" and 6'11" wingspan frame is a very strange combo that gives most players problems.
