he’s not looked happy.
I think this is the more important thing. Surprised he wasn't part of the deal in lieu of other picks or assets. Guess that means Nets didn't want him though? And Suns were shopping Paul to rivals too, so he can't be thrilled even if he likes the KD pickup and won't be around for the lean years that follow.

I'm good with it. Gotta walk before you can run. The Webber Kings got knocked out in the first round during their first two years and were the 8th seed both years if I remember right. The team isn't done evolving and I'd rather them not risk anything crazy this year and potentially make the team much worse when they have a really really good chance at making the playoffs for the first time in forever.
Someone may have pointed this out but we were 6th seed vs. a 3 Utah in the 99 campaign (Y1). But yeah, we have to learn to be a playoff team and no matter what seed we have the first time, it's a completely different beast. Expecting a team to go 17 years to a conference finals team is nuts. Second round no matter where we finish is beyond my wildest expectations (which was 6 seed and actual playoff series).

If we do anything of substance today, I put my money on a collins trade where we lift the unprotected status on our first from the Huerter trade, add in another protected first, and then a couple of our role player types (Holmes, Davis or Mitchell)
