2014 Playoffs - Western Semifinals - (2) Thunder vs. (3) Clippers

meh. the officiating kinda evened out, imo. they missed a couple of calls on Westbrook drives, for Jackson's second charge, Blake Griffin seemed to be in the circle (didn't replay that, unfortunately), they gave Crawford an and-1 on a leg kick 3, they missed Barnes' foul on Jackson before the ball went out of bounds and even those two controversial calls at the end could've gone either way. anyway, it's the Clippers, screw 'em.

so yeah, Thunder ball.

clips got robbed on that call. i don't hate the clips like some of you do but i'm looking at who comes out of the west that can beat the heat. i hate the heat with a passion and if its OKC against MIAMI, might as well give them the championship. OKC has no low post presence and it continues to show in the series. jump shot or drive and if both aren't clicking they lose.

what's most funny to me is that Bill Simmons actually called the refs screwing this up. this was before the game:

Bill Simmons ‏@BillSimmons
Bennett Salvatore, Tom Washington and Tony Brothers reffing a genuinely important NBA playoff game - what could possibly go wrong?

The Spurs were a couple botched gimmes and an insane Ray Allen three away from beating the Heat last year. They appear to be running on all cylinders now. If you want someone to beat the Heat, you should be rooting for them.

i'm rooting for any team that can beat the heat. out of OKC and LAC, LAC is the better to match up w/ the heat

Eh I don't like either team, but I dislike the Clippers more just because of their whining and flopping (not that OKC doesn't do it either, they just don't take it to the level the Clippers do). So Thunder for me, even though I think the Clippers are the better team and have a much better chance of beating Miami. As for who I want to face the Heat, that would be the Spurs... revenge in its sweetest form. The Heat don't look that good to be honest, while the Spurs are playing great. I had a dream last night the Kings made the playoffs next season and upset the Warriors, felt pretty real and then I woke up. That darn REM sleep..

Blake Griffin delivers more cheap shot kicks to the nuts, and does more flopping, and more griping to refs, than anyone in the league. Thats why I hate him (and whatever team he calls home) so much. I almost hoped the Clippers would come back tonight just so I could watch them choke away a game 7. I'm satisfied though with a 4Q game 6 crumble... sleep well Blake.

that's my number one priority for these playoffs out of the way. thank you, Mr. Durant. gonna be a fun offseason for the Clippers, too.

I'm just going to say it: all you people who "hate" the Clippers more than you hate the Heat... you need to get your damned priorities straight.

I'm rooting for any team that (as they say on the block) might can beat Miami. Anything to end our long national nightmare.

I feel fine with my priorities. not wanting people to succeed, whose style of play disgusts me and who are actively hurting the reputation of my favourite team's franchise player trumps whatever animosity I can still muster for the Heat. the fact that Silver would most likely have still been required to hand the Larry O'Brien Trophy to Donald Sterling need not even be brought into play for that.

i honestly would have rooted for Miami over LAC if that's what it came down to. At least i can respect LeBron for being great more than i can respect the scheming, dirty, whiney, flopping Clippers.
But thank god it won't come down to that. The Spurs deserve the ring this year and they are looking like the best team in Basketball. It's theirs to lose this year

Hating Lebron is so 2012... he's not Darth Vader anymore to me. He's a real contender for GOAT and I don't mind if the Heat win the title.

I do kinda hate Bosh, but he's hardly significant enough to trump the Blake hate.

amen. i don't want to hear ... not one, not two, not three, not four not five not six

Funny, the bolded part of that statement is precisely why I don't hate the Clippers.

Hating Griffin is so 2013?
