too bad cause the refs had it wrong

They should have had 3.0 seconds on the shot clock not 2.9. There's the .1 second differential. Not a coincident that that's how much extra they needed.

Memphis: The ugliest team in NBA history.
Teams like Memphis are the ones that are practically ruining the excitement of the NBA.
The only thing they have going for them is being an underdog in every series they have ever played and will play.
Ugly but gotta respect Tony Allen for all the work he has done on Durant and all the loose balls that he's won for them. All 3 of the wins are due to Big Tony. If we had Tony Allen on our team, I can guarantee that Malone wouldn't be crying for defense no more.

BTW, OKC coach is a blatant moron. With the type of talent on his squad, a better coach should easily win the championship with them. There's no discipline in the team. Durant and Westbrook taking ridiculous and forced shots. But here's where it gets worse...you have guys like Jackson, Ibaka and Butler who are taking forced shots. I understand if your star players are doing it because they are the main offensive option but come on....
Horrible coach because of the lack of tactical plays down the stretch and lack of discipline. His team had no timeout for the last 2 minutes in the 4th. COME ON. What kind of moronic coach does that LOL They got lucky with Westbrooks genius defense.

If Popovich coached these guys, this would be their 3rd year in a row winning a championship.
I would rather watch Memphis than flopping scum like OKC/Houston/Clippers anyday, they play working mans basketball no one wants to see grown men acting awfully unless your into WWF. I could not be happier if Memphis beat FLOPKC, on every single 3 points that fall backward/kick there feet out and on every drive Durrant tries to con his way into a foul it's a joke.

The OKC offence literally looks like ours (when Cousins does not play) except they have Durrant instead of Rudy and Russ instead of IT with better shooting around them, it's actually pretty pathetic there offensive system.

Scott Brooks is overrated as head coach in NBA - well, actually he's not really rated at all. He's proving to be little more than rah, rah, cheerleader. When they show him in time-outs he's mostly - lets' go guys! keep fighting! Very little apparent strategy or in your face like Pop or other top coaches. Not unlike Pacers Coach Vogel and if his team or OKC gets eliminated in first round I bet one or both are fired.

while Brooks is fairly unimaginative on the offensive side of the floor, he is an excellent defence coach and truly elite in developing talent. look at where he has gotten his players, not just Westbrook and Durant (though I'd claim that Westbrook would be nowhere near the player he is now, if it weren't for Brooks), but especially all the low draft picks. Ibaka, Jackson, Lamb, Jones, they've all looked really good, especially considering what the expectations were for them.

maybe Brooks can't coach offence at a level sufficient to win a championship, maybe he's just run into an absolute nightmare match up for his team. even a guy like Pop can be send reeling, just look at what Carlisle and the Mavs are doing to him right now. saying that he's a bad coach is going overboard, though. I, for one, would gladly have him coach this team.

I'm still trying to figure out why OKC was considered to come out of the west when you have Westbrook taking more shots than the soon to be MVP, awful shots at that too. They also are not getting much production from their bench.

You can tell who the NBA wants to advance into the next round, seriously Memphis has been getting disrespected all year, they averaged one of the fewest FTA's and they LIVE in the paint and Z-Bo has been getting murdered by obvious fouls all series long smh. To me as long as they have Gasol they can still win but honestly you can't suspend someone for a game 7 for that.

Fouls have been going uncalled both ways. Tony Allen has had a hand inside Durant's jersey for almost the entire time he's been on the floor. They're just not calling the ticky-tack fouls this postseason. I have really enjoyed it. Reminds me of those old Jazz-Kings series where it wasn't a screen unless someone got an elbow in the throat.

Grizzlies are dirty and they're not going to advance after Randolph's suspension--rightfully so...
This isn't street ball. You can't punch someone and expect to get away with it. Pathetic.

I still can't believe that Rudolph punched him, he's probably cost his team the series, though it would be 'nice' to them spring a surprise and beat them.

missed the game. for those who saw this game, was it rigged by refs?

Probably the first series I won't be watching in the playoffs for a long time I can't stand either the Thunder or Clippers I honestly don't know which I hate more. Worst possible outcome for me.

otoh, one of those teams is going home after that series. try to see the silver lining.

unless vivek's nba 3.0 involves magnetic basketballs, it wasn't rigged. the grizz were just pathetic.

The Grizzlies were without their #1 option on offense and a major part of their defense. Joerger pretty much had to make up a gameplan on the fly, and to his credit, it worked for half the game. The Thunder couldn't miss in the third quarter.

Draft Embiid. Trade Cousins for Westbrook.

Embiid
Free Agent
Gay
Ben Mac
Westbrook

I think you've hit on a trade that neither team would do.

The Thunder would drool at that option.

They have Jackson who can easily be a starting PG as he has proven while Westbrook was out (Coincidentally, that's when Thunder played their best).
Lamb as starting 2 who would get more shots and ball in his hand.
Durant- ...
Ibaka: Rim protector/rebounder
Cousins: ... Big man they are lacking in the post to be elite

The Thunder would quite literally be unstoppable. Also, Durant gets the ball more and more shots for him. Cousins picks up the lose balls and putbacks.
