I meant the draft position, not the actual pick. If GS lins, we would be tied for the third worst record and we could get the 4th position if we lose in the coin flip. That's the worst case scenario in terms of draft positions.

You could probably say "lotto position" and not have any confusion with the actual draft position determined by the lottery.

Brick...if we lose the coin flip do we still split the ping pong balls? Is the coin flip only used in determining position after the 1st 3 picks are determined?

The total between #3 and #4 is 275 combos. The winner of the coin flip would be in #3 lotto position and get 138 combos, the loser of the coin flip would be in #4 lotto position and get 137 combos.

Well technically, we can finish as low as 4th after the coin toss but in the lottery we could still slight all the way down to 7th or 8th!

Wow Clippers have secured 8th worst record, they better pray Lebron takes the bait with those LA girls they are going to dangle in front of him or they are screwed! Serves them right for basically trying to mess with our pick (kidding, or were they? Lol) I love it, if Dubs win there will be a 4-5 tie (Wiz-Dubs), a 5-6 tie (Detroit-Philly). They will have to have their own worries about that infamous coin, that can be the difference between a solid player and a complete and utter scrub.

2) lottery is held, and the lottery is basically jsut to see who gets the 1st through 3rd picks. From the 4th pick onward its just done by record. So if WSH, GSW and the LAC get the 1st through 3rd picks, then 4th would just go to the team with the worst record remianing (NJN in this case) 5th would go to the next worst record (MIN) etc.

I just cannot consider the Warriors better then the Kings. Our records being identical is really misleading IMO. What do you guys think of them? They are trying their best to lin that's for sure. Rudy Fernandez and Batum are killing them.
