2007 Schedule is Up!!!

Wow! Four-game road trip to start the season? Well, it's happened before, in 2005, when we won the WNBA Finals!

The first game (against the Shock in Detroit) will be on ABC-TV. But it's going to be tough for some of us to sit through, because I'm guessing that's when the Shock's championship ring ceremony will take place.

But June should be a much nicer month for us, though. Eight of the M's 12 games in June will be at Arco! :)

But August has a tough four-game road trip, with IND/CT/SASS/HOU in store for us.

Anyone know where the 2007 WNBA All-Star Game be? I heard that it was likely to be in Washington DC. (As if they really needed to have it in the East Coast again!)

Even though we won't have a Ring Ceremony this time, we'll get to raise the Western Conference Championship banner - then take on the LA Sparks. Not a bad home opener, at all!

De Javu! MBF faceplants more margarita's in S.A.

i predict a less than sober MBF Aug 9th in San Antoinio assuming she risk getting a ride from the gps-less one in H-town as a driver like she did before. somebody might wanna send a rescue group to the Riverwalk!

If i can make it happen, i will try and see if i can make it out for June 16th! no promises, but i will do my best to make it happen.

:)

Eh...dude...what happened in San Antonio should have stayed in San Antonio...;)

That said...those margaritas were MAH VAH LOUS!!!! We needed a pitcher to go that we could have snuck into SBC Center. If I knew the M's game in Hou would have gone the way it ultimately went, I'da definitely gotten a pitcher or two to go so I could ease the pain of that beat down. ;)

MVP Road Trip...

The Schedule does not lend itself to having a decent road trip.

The earliest weekend Game that is close is Friday June 22 in LA. Happy B-Day Nicole. But that is the front end of a back to back against Detroit, back here. It could work but hmm...

The Next one is in July, Friday 7/6 in Minny Holiday week Bad travel time. Rather Long trip anyway.

Friday 7/20 against SASS could work. No back to backs, I think it is the first game after the all-star game tho. Which may cause some travel issues for our All-Star game crew. But then I hear that if the ASG is in Washington again they will skip it. So Maybe Sass works.

Of course we could wait til August. And Catch Houston on the end of that Road trip. Our Girls should be good and tired and Missing us.
That is also a Friday Night on the 10th.

But my bet is that it will be the final game of the year against Phoenix. It is a Sunday, Easier travel for people. Won't have to miss a whole lot of work if any for some.

I would personally prefer SASS Houston or Minny. Again Minny is a travel nightmare for that week. But they could use the attendance support. Houston has plenty of support, and it would be nice to be there in numbers. San Antonio could also be fun. Riverwalk anyone?

It would be cool to try something we haven't done in the last 4 years.

And I think all these places are doable if we have notice early enough. Like for those who do go to the All-Star game. My guess is that they will be taking the week of anyway. Why not slide thru San Antonio. And the pricing should be affordable.

But the schedule has not really worked in our favor for this one. Again my guess in terms of convience would be Phoenix. I would have said LA, but I doubt we are gonna do a repeat of LA on a Back to Back.

Man... decisions

A road trip would be fun...for me I'll pass on LA...
Been there, done that.
For sure I'm passing on the All-Star game, unless it's out west.
We can ponder some plans down the road;)
