2007/2008 Las Vegas Kings= TITLE!

I think that the Kings are getting signing a lot of scrub FA's just so they can do a lot of signing and trading next off season...also, next off-season will have a ton of FA's for us to pick up. I say we keep Bibby, K-Mart, Artest and Reef....thes rest are expendable. I say we sign Chris Duhon, Nocioni, trade for KG or Pau Gasol......other moves are optional.....discuss.....SSIA

Oh, forgot to post that when the Kings move to Vegas...the market will be bigger thus more big names will want to come & play for the Kings.....We would own the NBA...be a bigger draw than NY or LA...IMHO.....

Cal...I realize that YOU may think that our beloved Kings will be in Vegas next year, but there are still many kingsfans who have hope/faith that the Kings will remain in Sacramento. Until it is official I suggest you refrain from suggesting these discuss-ting things . If you want to "discuss" the Kings in LV, then go to the arena section.

If we had enough trade bait to get those guys you suggested, then we would have a good team and wouldn't need to make any trades. There is absolutely no way we could keep Bibby, Artest, SAR and K-Mart and get KG/Pau, Duhon and Nocioni. So when you come back down to reality and ask a decent question, then we might be more inclined to "discuss".

You are joking, right? The Kings are not considered a "legit" franchise? Are you serious? Atlanta, OK. Portland, too. But a team in the PO 8 years in a row and played in the WCF a couple years ago not legit?

Sacramento is ranked as the 19th largest market, Las Vegas is 48th. Do your homework.

I don't doubt this, but can you please give me a link to the source. I love these kinds of stats. I know Sacramento is the capital of the 5th biggest economy in the world, which is very impressive. It's no little cow town anymore.

And Cal stop this NV Kings crap, Kings fans are awesome and the Kings mean everything to us, we will not let them go very easily.

#2 are you serious? The NBA or any league has yet to approve pro sports in Vegas. The kings will not be the first, if anything ... IF they are moving then it's to the Pond I will wager that in Vegas.

Not so sure they are moving but ... Well 50% of me says they are gone.

Thanks for posting a link G_M. I just got back to the thread. Sacramento is the capital, but the business side of this state runs pretty much out of LA and SF. Those are the main international entry points. But cowtown, no. At least, nobody's asked if I live a farm for a long time now.

But seriously folks, the Sonics are likely going to move, I still think the Kings will stay in SAC. (At least I'm hoping)

actually, I am not new to the boards really....I have been quitely reading posts by people on here for years about you all bitching about things....well I have been a kings fan for about 13 years....I am aware that you people have weird idiosyncracies on these boards, but I don't care....I was tired of reading all the complaining on here...the Kings need to move away from Sac to be a legit franchise....you people need to wake up and realize it is all about big cities and big money in sports...only fans are loayal the rest is up for grabs.

A: If you don't care for the way things are done here, you can always go back to the ESPN boards where all the kewl ppl are.

B: Kings have been a "legit franchise" for years. Why don't you try explaining why they aren't "legit" in your eyes. Who else is "legit" and who isn't in your esteemed, worldly view? Shower us with your acumen and wisdom.

C: Tell that to San Antonio and Indy, among others.

D: Which fans are more loyal than Kings fans? Oh yeah, record sellout streaks don't mean anything do they?
