What happened to Don Knotts and Darren McGavin in that SPECIAL TRIBUTE to the dearly departed ????

Its happened several times. I don't recall seeing Ossie Davis in the Memorium. Im guessing theres a certain cutoff date just like the movies.

This reminds me of an incident a few years ago when the R&B singer Aaliyah was honored in the Academy Awards memorial tribute, even though she made only two movies.

But Peggy Lee (who was nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category in the 50's and made lots of films) wasn't included in that tribute! Her family and friends were highly upset that she was snubbed.
