Whooooooooooo!
It's finally here! The playoffs. All past problems forgotten - it's a new day!
As game time approaches, I'll be sitting here wearing my Bibby jersey, with my lucky socks, luck purple slippers AND wrapped in my lucky Kings blankey.
If you're going to be following the game via this play-by-play thread, you also have some other options to consider:
• You can participate in the game discussion thread started by piksi, which is a very lively place to be during the game.
• You can chat with other Kings fans at mIRC, server: irc.bludgeon.org, channel: #KingsFans.
• You can combine all of them for the ultimate on-line Kings experience! (And if you're also watching the game, you are in total Kings immersion mode.)
I usually mention the dedication and generosity of our site owner, Jeremy. This time is no exception. Jeremy, with little fanfare, devotes a lot of time and money to this site to ensure that it stays the most active Kings message board on the Internet. People don't realize how important that is until one of the RARE occasions when the site goes down and you have to try and find another site. There just isn't anything else quite like Kingsfans.com anywhere!
There is no charge to become a member at Kingsfans.com, and you don't even have to register to read our forums. If you wish to post comments, registration is quick and simple and without charge. If you would like to help defray the costs of keeping Kingsfans.com up and operating, consider becoming a Contributing Member. This is a good day to be a Kings fan. (Of course, every day is a good day to be a Kings fan...) The playoffs are starting; the Kings are in the playoffs. Everything from this point on, IMHO, is plastic flowers on the icing on the cake.
Come on in, grab a chair, fasten your seatbelts and hold on tight! I think we're in for a great ride!!!!!
GO KINGS!!!!!!
