2 Things we need to come to terms with (Malone/Petrie)

#1 Mike Malone is not coming back... not today, not tomorrow, not EVER.... unless Vivek sells the team. (which sure as hell isn't gonna happen). It doesn't matter who's decision it was to fire him. Vivek went on the record and on TV saying Mike Malone was not what the Kings want or need.... SO ITS OVER .... FOREVER.... Karl is a better HOF coach and has done just fine in the past with "Troubled superstars." People are WAAAAY over reacting to there being some MASSIVE discord between Cousins and Karl. You guys can thank Pete the Douche for leaking any potential concerns cousins agent might have had in private. By all accounts Cousins is the only reason Karl wanted to take this job....

IM GONNA SAY IT ONE MORE TIME... Cousins agents had both been fired or demoted by Karl or his son in the past. Cousins agents both are the ones that had a privately had any concerns with Karl...Pete is the one behind making that into a public issue... thats why Pete is gone.... Cousins and Karl are just fine... Mike Malone had a good relationship with Cousins true...but Karl's a better coach and they will be just fine as long as we win more..... Thats the answer and fix to all this mess at this point...

#2 Petrie isn't coming back either... Unless Mike Bratz wants him... and thats highly unlikely... Divac just mentioned how basically when Pete's officially gone ... Bratz is the new GM. If I'm the new GM I don't bring back the old GM as my first move... having too many people/voices is what got us in this mess to begin with...

KEEP IT SIMPLE... They will probably add another talent evaluator like Ryan West and a number guru/salary cap guy... but not the old GM Petrie....PLUS Petrie has been out of the game. Its not like he's been attending any workouts, briefings, interviews or camps he wouldn't be able to help much even if he was asked to help ....WHICH HE WON'T BE

What Kings fans in general need to do is let go off the past, it's there for a reason and I think it's time to write a brand new book and not just keep adding chapters.

AND.... for all the VIVEK haters that are seemingly growing in numbers.... He made some mistakes no doubt... I don't think anyone could have predicted how terribly Pete handled everything.

BUT... Vivek going with Divac was an absolute HOME RUN.... Divac doesn't have to be the #1 talent scout or the #1 numbers guy.... He's just gonna create a healthy "team" environment where people will be able to excel at what their good at, and a FO team that will play or work together... just like when he was playing for us... He didn't have to be the star but was the GLUE!!!! He's got everyone to buy in to being a team and also its important to realize that along with being great the team was a "CLASS ACT" ....

THATS WHAT DIVAC DOES and he will have no problem uniting Bratz, Karl (who know and like each other anyway), Vivek and getting everyone to know their rolls and work together.

I disagree, I think Kings fans need to be vigilant, patient, honest with tomorrow. They do have someone in there in which I'll quietly observe, be somewhat optimistic about however.

Plus, saying anyone who disagrees with someone is a "hater." What a tired, stupid, childish, wore out, meaningless word, for just pointing out some of Vivek's rookie mistakes. I don't think anyone, not one single person here personally hates Kings owner. Only voicing disagreement to point of being appalled with his hopefully now in the past meddling.

Why are u so sensitive? Calm down jeez... Anyone thinking Malone or Petrie will be walking back through the door at the Kings offices needs a reality check. It's the equivalent of starting a thread about LeBron James signing as a free agent with the Kings it's a total waste of time and not going to happen so let's move past the obvious and have conversations about things that are realistic.

Plus my comments about being a Vivek "hater"..... just to be specific those were in relation to the people who are over the top negative towards him. For example there are people that are over the top saying things about wanting the Maloofs back or things being better before Vivek or that Vivek should sell the team.

Just so there's no confusion for people like you haze ....that's what I'm referring to. I've seen more and more crazy comments being made like that.

Couldn't agree more. Kings fans are ALWAYS looking to compare to the team of the early 2000s.

it's time to let it go. That team will never be replicated. What we need to do is put a solid team around DeMarcus Cousins and get to the damn Playoffs
