The Kings are on an 8-game losing streak in which the average margin of defeat has been 23 points. That's insane, frankly. Yes, they've played the best teams in the conference during that span... but they also just lost to the 4-11 Grizzlies by 41 points while Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. were both out with injury.
I honestly believe that the front office can't go much longer without addressing the need for radical change. I expect real rumblings to pick up by the middle of December, but in the meantime, are the Kings really going to challenge the Pelicans for Worst in the West without a peep from Perry, who used his opening months on the job to add two problem children to a rotation already full to the brim with ill-fitting parts?
I've obviously been a loud voice for lins around these parts, but I also want accountability from this franchise. I want to see that there's a plan. I want to know that they're not looking at this roster and prepping a litany of excuses for why it has bombed so spectacularly thus far, as if there's any excuse good enough for an 8-game losing streak in which the Kings have lost by an average of 23 points.
