Mister Slim Says: The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Kings have now lost six in a row and still have three games remaining on the road trip. At this point the best-case scenario is to root for an entertaining game, preferably with as few minutes for double-digit year veterans as possible.

I know this has been discussed many times, and not sure how much it really impacts our win loss record at this point, but this schedule is nutso.
The Kings will have played the Thunder, Nuggets, and TWolves three times each in the first month (and a week) of the season. A schedule from hell even if the Kings didn’t suck.

An easy poll question! I always played Racecar.

It's a bit surprising how much the pieces have changed over the years. There were a couple in the poll I didn't recognize, and looking at the Wiki suggests that the following pieces should have been in the Monopoly sets that I played growing up (presumably released in the '70s or early '80s):

Racecar (yep)
Top Hat (yep)
Thimble (yep)
Scottish Terrier (yep)
Iron (yep)
Boot (yep)
Battleship (nope, have never seen this piece, would totally remember it, likely would have played it over the racecar)
Wheelbarrow (yep)
Howitzer (=cannon? Definitely not, never had this piece)
Horse and Rider (yep)
Train (starting in 1980, but nope, didn't have this one)

With divorced parents I definitely played on at least two sets, so it's not like one set just had lost pieces - as well as playing at friends' houses, etc. I'm tempted to call Anti-Mandela Effect on some of these!

Always played the race car. I'm with Cap on the pieces I remember having. We had a very old board. Although we also had some of the various Sacramento themed boards as well. I know my mom had the Old Sac board since she ran a prominent business in Old Sac, and was also the Fire Chief and Mayor at various times.

I am absolutely certain that without Keegan and Sabonis we’re in for the worst ass whooping of the season so far. Which probably means we’ll win by 10 points given my track record of prognostication

Considering there are approximately 100,000 different variations of Monopoly which have been sold at this point there's got to be almost a million different official player pieces to pick from. As a board game enthusiast though, I would strongly encourage people to pick a better game than Monopoly. It was designed to be unfair on purpose, as an argument for the widespread adoption of Land Value Tax but alas, the Georgist economic principles were streamlined out of the game (along with the involvement of the original designer) and subsequently forgotten entirely.

Eubanks is a much better defender than I thought he’d be when we signed him. Hasn’t really helped the Kings be a good team or anything but that drop off from Jonas to him has honestly not been that bad haha
