You get in what you put out. This rotation is nothing as to what the supposed "vision" was. Nothing. The offense is there though. Not sure whether to feel good for Westbrook that the entire gameplan tonight was for Russ to go full flashback and his coach and teammates are all in or if this just just like it always is. Blips in time, whether they win or lose. I can't believe this, lol, this is literally DeMar DeRozan and Russell Westbrooks team guys.

Kings have shown virtually zero indication of sniffing a lead in this game......LaVine looks pretty bad. Only Derozen and Westbrook have played well.

We might be the only team in NBA history to sign a FA, 3 days before training camp and then proceed to turn the keys of the franchise over to said player.

And he's playing well for the most part, but the Kings have gone into such bizarre territory this season, it's mind boggling.

Eh, he's really not. The heliocentric Russ stuff was great... 10 years ago. But it comes with a lot of mistakes and he doesn't impose his will on the game like he used to. Not to mention, just a complete traffic cone on defense.

This game is an excellent example where if you look at the box-score, you might think he was awesome, but it's not translating at all to the score or on the floor in terms of impact

I don't know what happened in my head today in the morning, I think this team can play. Creates quality shots. Has some elite scorers.
Defense - just try to get rebounds if other team misses. Nobody makes all shots.

Yeah, I mean he's always been that guy. Just craziness. He plays hard and that's why most casual fans overlook a lot of that stuff. We've seen this as Kings fans so many times. Having the young guys be an afterthought and thinking them watching from the sidelines or being ignored in the corner is going to somehow develop them is plain stupid. It's not even like Westbrook is someone that can build trade value.

Eh, they’d be down 25 without him

The Kings starters/rotation players make the kind of mistakes that, if they were rookies/on rookie contracts, you'd just shrug your shoulders like, "Eh, they'll learn." Except they're all double-digit year veterans.
