This will be a very interesting game. I think the Lakers looked average at best as a team even with Luka. This should be a win if this team will be play-in or better this year. Even if LaVine is out, we are super deep at guard so no excuses.

Looking at the depth chart for LA, it appears that the team should have signed RJ Davis as a point guard, as I thought they might do. Everyone behind Luka--Reaves, Smart, Vincent--primarily plays another position. Only Smart is not inked in as a starter. And apart from Reaves, with 10 assists per game, and Vincent with 3, no one is averaging more than 1.5 across the first two games. Smart averaged only 3.2 assists last year.

The Kings have a real chance to win this at home, if they can stay focused and hold on to the ball.

They tried speeding up his release so he could get more attempts up. No point in more attempts if he’s not making them. Go back to the slow release, efficient 2 attempts per game.

I am not optimistic. The shots are not even close.
