Eventually when you also play young players 1-3 minutes both paths converge at about the 16 year mark. Just have to wait on it.

Yeah, there's no plan. I get it, we're short-handed with no Nique/Keegan, but everything about these rotations the last 2 games have felt so incredibly random without a plan.

I disagree. This Kings team has shown more consistent defense than I've seen in decades. Doug is going with the lineups that reflect the culture being built, even at the expense of the matchup and scoring. It looks to me like he and Scott know we're a mid team at best, so heart/toughness/culture are the better priority investments. I don't see a lot of randomness here, just a different mindset.

Noticed this too. He had a few "choice" looks towards LaVine and DDR tonight. He's getting put on the back-burner and not getting any reward for running the floor, setting screens, never gets the ball back in the DHO. He's an after-thought on this team right now.

We're gonna lose one of the best players this franchise has ever had when this thing blows up. Maybe not at the deadline, but probably this off-season. Freaking sucks.

Ah, the ole get Sabonis in foul trouble early routine. I figured we got screwed somehow but with the defense I'm seeing in these "highlights", we absolutely deserved it anyhow. And Lavine's shot selection at the end was just awful

I attribute a lot of the free throw disparity to Doug's exhortations to the team to be aggressive on defense. It's as if there was a deliberate attempt to make use of our guard glut to junk up the game.

And no, it wasn't a good 3 minute stint, his first action of the regular season, btw. But he immediately tried to pick up 94 feet, which is the Doug/Perry mantra, obviously over-zealous with his first action and got the foul. Created a turnover and ran into Reaves for the charge, which is something he does need to work on.
