    [Game] Suns @ Kings, 11/13/2024, 7pm PST/ 10pm EST

I don't even care about the sloppiness. At least we aren't witness to the slug-in-the-mud crap that has been going on for several games now.

The chains were released in this half. Keep them off: move the ball, push the pace, share the ball.

    [Game] Suns @ Kings, 11/13/2024, 7pm PST/ 10pm EST

This is more like it. Playing with pace, getting fast breaks, moving the ball, and a lot less of DDR dominating the ball. It all makes for rhythm and better shooting.

    Three Level Attack

I wouldn't bet either way. I'm too risk averse.:D Good point about HB, but it sure seems to me we still had a lot more motion of ball and man in the offense than we do now. When was the last time you were impressed on how the ball was whipping around the floor? It seems like a distant memory...

    Three Level Attack

Apparently, you're talking about how ideally this is supposed to work. Sure, ideally. But as you point out in reality this offense hasn't produced the 3-point shooting it needs. The issue is why are the Kings bad at 3-point shooting? Frankly, the longer it goes on the less I can believe it's...

    Three Level Attack

DDR is an excellent player, certainly an upgrade in isolation from Barnes. But so far he's not a great fit for this team. It's not about what Demar does in isolation; it's about how the offense designed with him in it affects the rest of the team. An iso 2-point heavy player on a team...

    [Game] Kings @ Spurs 11/11/24 5pm PST, 8pm EST

An evaluation in two weeks isn't like playing in two weeks. I usually double the evaluation period for an estimate of the time period of not playing. If he comes back sooner, I'm even happier.:D I'll be particularly interested in Heurter's play in this game. A Fox sighting would also be...

    Three Level Attack

There's not enough motion or fast breaks in the offense. Fox role is ???? Is he a point guard? A shooting guard that can't shoot the 3? What exactly? A one on one guard who does make others better, or a player that "gets into his bag" periodically as a point-getter? I don't know and I...

[Game] Kings vs Clippers, 11/8/2024 7pm PST 10pm EST

Murray is his into his head far too much. His little gears are whirring, whirring, whirring, making him hesitate on his shot (DDR mentioned as much hesitation in the last night's presser), which in turn is causing him to miss. You can see it every time he gets the basketball he's THINKING...

[Game] Kings vs Clippers, 11/8/2024 7pm PST 10pm EST

This game sooo reminds me of the Lakers game - a slug in the mud. The only guy that played with pace in the 2nd half was Monk, who with 2:30 left in the 3rd actually had a fast break basket. Give the man a cupie doll. They couldn't even get to 100, which in today's NBA is like 80 of old...

[Game] Kings vs Raptors 11/6/24 7pm PST/10pm EST

Interesting. I wonder if the offensive system changed so that they didn't get the ball as much. I still don't see Murray flying around screens getting the ball as much as I'd like to see. Seems like when it happens good things happen, but it doesn't happen enough.

[Game] Kings vs Raptors 11/6/24 7pm PST/10pm EST

So you think that Heurter and Murray have had a lot fewer open shots than in their first year?

[Game] Kings vs Raptors 11/6/24 7pm PST/10pm EST

I find it curious that both Heurter and Murray shot around 40% from 3 in their first year with the Kings, then dropped off precipitously after that. Is it just a coincidence?

    [Game] Kings @ Davions 11/2/2024 4:30pm Pacific 7:30pm Eastern

I did have the faint hope that with the addition of DDR that the dumb arrogant games against lesser opponents would disappear this year. His leadership and all. Wins against Utah and Atlanta helped fueled my optimism. Alas, no joy. Instead, the same theme of not taking lesser opponents...

    [Game] Kings @ Davions 11/2/2024 4:30pm Pacific 7:30pm Eastern

Kings defense was terrible in the first half. A couple of passes for Toronto and they got wide open 3s from Kings' players over-hedging in the paint. In particular, Monk could have had a long low-light reel of his bad defensive play. If Brown can clean it up the Kings should win handily.

    [Game] Kings @ Jazz 10/29/2024 6:00pm Pacific 9:00pm Eastern

The main opponent for the Kings is the Kings. How are they going to respond in their first back to back, especially against a "lesser" team?

[Game] Kings vs Blazers 10/28/2024 7:00pm Pacific 10:00pm Eastern

The Blazers offensive rebounding is going to test the Kings. Every single Kings' player must aggressively go after rebounds.

I like for Brown to pair those two because Keegan's outside 3-point shooting is essential to have on the floor with the 2-point heavy DDR.
