The Pels know they have the Kings' number and the Kings' know it too. Too long, too athletic, even without Ingram. There would have to be some major changes to the Kings' roster to have a chance against this team in the future.
On the bright side, Ingram is out and he's one of the very few NBA wings that has given Murray major problems. I'm curious about the Kings' mental outlook on this game. Are they going to come out guns ablazing or lay down and play dead?
Yeah, he's one Doncic, Giannis, Embid, or Tatum away maybe. McNair has a long ways to go on this one. If he thinks he's one incremental piece away from being a championship contender then he'd be dreaming.
Waste of an excellent overall game by Ellis. The Kings did not win and will not win anything of import in the future unless they can somehow someway address the free throw disparity. Fox doesn't get calls on drives. Murray shoots fallaway jumpers in the key rather than go through players to...
The Kings prospered in the final five minutes by getting into the paint - Barnes, Fox, Mitchell - and then shooting or kicking. More please. If they don't fall in love with the 3 in the 2nd half they should be ok.
The referring is maddening. I've seen at least four push offs by OKC, no call, and then Sabonis does the same thing and it's an offensive foul. Ridiculous.
Fill me in on the "playoffs"/draft pick dynamics. Do you actually mean literally the playoffs, or does it also include play-in? If they play in the play-in and don't make the "playoffs" do they give up the pick or not?
