Did Perk and Bilas compare Murray to Siakam? Siakam would be just about a perfect PF for this team. I don't believe the talk that Murray has a low ceiling. He made big improvements from his freshman year. He is just a good all around player, a smart player, a two way player. If nothing else...

People overlook this but it is pretty indicative of how good Murray is. Pop rarely makes a mistake with a player.

So is he going to a PF or a SF for us? No doubt the player that fits the best on this team. Just a very solid, all around pro that fits as good as anyone next to Sabonis and Fox. I don't necessarily buy the low ceiling calls as the history is littered with players who have proven those calls wrong.

Keegan Murray would fit this team like a glove. As close to a perfect fit as you could get. Having said that, at 4, you go with the best long temr prospect regardless of the fit, position or anything else.

One thing is for certain, trying to predict what OKC do is unpredictable in itself. I can definitely see them liking Ivey but could also see them liking Banchero as well. I doubt they even get a chance to consider Smith. Banchero for us would be interesting. Not a great fit next to Sabonis...

Banchero just makes so much sense for Houston.

That’s assuming Chet goes #1 which is far from a given. If Smith is there ar #2 would the OKC even entertain a trade then? There are a LOT more moving parts in the equation than just simply trading up.

I think people need to realise that Fox is not going anywhere unless its for an upgrade and it certainly wouldn’t be for a draft pick. Front office made their choice to go with Fox when they traded for Sabonis. They have 2 years to get Sabonis to sign an extension and the only way they do that...
