Could KOBE lead the Cavs to the Finals?

Your using their FG% to associate how good they are as players. I only brought up the FG%'s because someone else claimed that the Lakers had worse shooters than the Cavs, which could be argued if they only had a higher FG%, but how do you explain the 3pt% and FT%?

Could KOBE lead the Cavs to the Finals?

They are former All-Stars for a reason. They aren't All-Stars anymore. Odom is far and away the best player on both teams save for the stars. Is Big Z that much better than Bynum? Maybe more steady and reliable at this point, but no superstar. And the way Hughes played (and didn't) this...

Could KOBE lead the Cavs to the Finals?

I think my opinion plus my statistical evidence > your opinion.

Could KOBE lead the Cavs to the Finals?

Of course I'm sure their ability to take the chance and step up has nothing to do with the fact that the superstar on their team is all about passing, whereas the Lakers superstar's MO is a very Keyshawn-like "Give me the damn ball".

Could KOBE lead the Cavs to the Finals?

Exactly who are all the sharpshooters on the Cavs? In the regular season the Lakers had a much higher FG% as a team (.480 vs. .420), had a much higher 3pt% (.350 vs. .320) and also shot it better from the charity stripe (.760 vs. .742). So much for that theory. The Lakers are the far better...

    Draft Combine Results

Bigs can get across the key with 2 steps and smaller players need 3 thus the difference in times and why big guys have such an advantage. The test is flawed.

Could KOBE lead the Cavs to the Finals?

I don't think so. I think James's ability to share the ball really gave the Pistons hesitation to change their defensive schemes to stop him, I don't think that would have been the case with Kobe. Plus, LeBron's teammate's seem to want to play for him, whereas the complete opposite could be...

    Remember me?

For anyone who cares... figured I'd update you on my status. The recent announcement of the Army shifting to 15 months deployments means that my company got delayed 3 months, so we won't head over until September time frame, which is both good and bad. Good because my guys need all the...

    Barry Bonds thread (merged)

Intentional walks have always been one base and part of baseball, so I don't know what you mean by "real" baseball. You don't want to be avoided for being too good, don't play a sport that so individualistic that you can be avoided every time you come up to make a difference. I hate watching...

Yeah, I don't think they incorporated the nuts to butt line in boot camp that had females, that was just a special treat to our all-male boot camp, yay.

    Remember me?

And since there was a couple requests for stories that I haven't responded to I'll relive one of the funniest moments in basic training. In Basic, you have to stand in line waiting for chow (food). You have to get in a snake like line nice and tight (nuts to butt). So one day we are waiting...

    Remember me?

Well time for an update, and Brick will be glad to hear that my knees are safe for the time being. I graduated Airborne school, mostly healthy and headed over to Bragg to join the 82nd. When I got here they decided I was far too intelligent for those infantry guys and transferred my to a...

    Zito's a Giant!!!

You can't complain that the guy can't draft and develoip talent and in the same sentence complain that the guy is trading those guys (who you say are not good and/or developed). Pick one side to complain about at a time. Otherwise your contradicting yourself.
