[Game] Kings @ Heat (2/26/13)

I'll never understand Smart. The guys is just incredibly Bi-Polar. He either plays the starters way too little, or leaves them in the entire 2nd half. Is it really the difficult to rest our guys in 4-5 minute stints?

I have to agree, this guy is crazy good. Im real proud of our guys tonight though. We gave it to them all game. Just ran out of gas in the end.
Imagine if Reke/Cuz/IT didn't have to play the final 34 min straight and got a breather. Reke/Cuz/IT were exhausted at the end. Great effort though. Aside from MT who was red hot we shared the ball, looked for each other.

Tonight we saw an example of the talent we have. Mia probably looked past us a bit but that isn't the point. We went toe to toe with them. If we had a proper coach winning 5-10 more games definitely wouldn't have been out of the question.

Guys shared the ball tonight, movement was better, IT took a step back. I'm wondering why. Was it something Smart said or something the guys decided on their own? Or did it just randomly happen that way? Most disappointing thing is Smart probably didn't learn anything from tonight.

loss though it may be, all i have to say is...

demarcus cousins: 10-17, 24 pts, 15 rebs, 5 asts, 2 stls
tyreke evans: 11-19, 26 pts, 4 rebs, 4 asts, 5 stls

isaiah thomas: 5-11, 14 pts, 2 rebs, 9 asts, 1 stls
john salmons: 6-11, 15 pts, 5 rebs, 7 asts, 1 stls
jason thompson: 3-10, 6 rebs, 2 asts, 1 stls

marcus thornton: 11-18, 36 pts, 2 rebs, 3 asts, 1 stls

...against the defending champs... on their home court...

this is what the spread should typically look like. i certainly don't wanna see big cuz and 'reke pulling these kinds of minutes night in and night out, but when you truly ride your two best players, good things happen. and when your theoretical super sixth man plays like a world beater, good things happen. and when your role players actually play their respective roles, good things happen. take note, future kings owners...

That bull**** no call on Wade ended the game. 5 points swing. **** this. Great effort by our guys tonight.

We win this game if Cousins and Thompson don't force so many stupid turnovers.
We also win this if we have a PG who actually has court vision, Thompson I agree was horrible but Cousins made up for every single turnover he made.

Props to IT 9 assists as well! Calls went both way this game. I think Salmons fouled Lebron before blocking his shot at the end of first OT. But in the end, we lost a very competitive game to the defending champs on a 11 game winning streak with Lebron doing his whatever historical thing. No complaints from me.... for now :)

Props to IT 9 assists as well!
But it was the pass he didn't make to a wide open and extremely hot Marcus Thornton with under 10 seconds remaining in the 1st OT that likely cost the Kings a win.

I think Salmons fouled Lebron before blocking his shot at the end of first OT.
I agree. Salmons pulled him down by his right arm. But the Heat got a major make up call when Wade wasn't called for goaltending, resulting in a 5-point swing and control of the game.

How can you not? There is a lot of down time during a game. It is like watching the game with a big group of people.
